The future of Minibar has remained somewhat of a mystery with the July 4 closure of America Eats Tavern, which housed the restaurant within a restaurant.

Now, the Post‘s Tom Sietsema reports that uber chef José Andrés will be relocating Minibar into recently-shuttered Zola Wine & Kitchen at 9th and E streets NW. (Not to be confused with Zola restaurant, which will close on June 30). The revamped avant-garde spot will have 16 seats, instead of six, spread across three tables. Reservations will open on Sept. 1 for Oct. 1 seatings.

No word on what will become of the America Eats Tavern space.
