Sit right down and you'll hear a tale...

Hear yee, Here yee! Here follows a description of the up and coming concert event to honor Kind James (hereafter referred to as "God"). At the request and order of God, a two stage concert event will take place in order to show the Almighty our appreciation. As we are impressed with His physical beauty and wonderful musical taste, the organizers could not think of a better way to honor Him. Because He likes various types of music, two stages will be utilized during this display of musical and spiritual devotion. (By the way, there will be an open-bar to all concert-goers as a reward for our devotion.) The requested setlist follows (performers will only use this as a guideline; as being spontaneous must be allowed to achieve the most beautiful concert experience):

First Set (Fast beat music)
Main group: The Smashing Pumpkins

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, "Where Boys Fear To Tread," "XYU," "An Ode to No One," "Silverfuek."

Introduce special guest: all of the band members of Rage Against the Machine.

"Bulls on Parade," "Bullet in Your Head," "Killing in the Name."

Introduce the next guest: Q-Tip of Tribe Called Quest.

"Scenerio."

SP tones it down alone with softer songs: "Spaceboy," "Landslide" (Fleetwood Mac cover), "33," "Disarm."

Intermission

Second Stage: The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra plays Grieg in order to pass the time and calm the nerves of the crowd.

Second Set: Phish

"The Simpsons," "YEM," "Weekapog," "Bouncin'," "The Horse," "Silent in the Morning," "The Thrill Is Gone" (BB King cover), "My Friend, My Friend," Tweezer.

Short Break

"Curtain," Tweezer (Reprise)

Announce special guests: Maceo Parker, Pee-Wee Ellis, G. Clinton spells F.U.N.K.

"Flashlight," Maceo's "Children's World" (extended version); even more powerful, orgasmic than version from Life on Planet Groove, "We Want the Funk."

Encore

"Fire," (Hendrix cover by Phish), "Jam Back at the House" (Ditto), "Great Gig in the Sky" (cover by Phish and special female back-up guests from Floyd).

All groups and guests appear on both stages to play awesome version of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door."

They will then thank God and the crowd. Tickets are free and will be held at the James Reeves Outdoor Art and Entertainment Center. The weather will be perfect. Enjoy!

A desert island is cool, methinks, but it's hotter with the original Kinks. Now that's Davies-Davies-Avory-Quaife, as lesser lineups leave me strafed (Dalton, Rodford, Henrit, and Co. should find another horn to blow). So knocked out by their legacy I have them reinvent for me...

"Winona" (Matthew Sweet)
"I Love the Sound of Breaking Glass" (Nick Lowe)
"I Found a Reason" (Velvet Underground)
"Floatin'" (Jonathan Richman)
"Suzy Lightning" (Warren Zevon)
"Better Late Than Never" (Tonio K.)
"Caroline, No" (Brian Wilson)
"Wrapping Paper" (Graham Parker)
"Darlin' One" (Replacements)
"Waterloo Sunset" (Kinks)
