Fringe & Purge Video, Episode 8
Among the swarms of Fringers marching through Chinatown and the Penn Quarter and Mount Vernon Square, one guy stands out: He's the guy with the big, bushy beard and the spreadsheet detailing his 30-show Fringe agenda.
And it's not just Capital Fringe: He treats early-music festivals, the Toronto Film Festival, and D.C. theater in general like they're endurance sports. He knows his Shakespeare and his Ionesco (though that part of our conversation was off-camera) and he's got an interesting notion about how strategic planning is a lot like playwriting. Watch the video, and discover one lively way to live when you're ready to retire.

Your videos are getting better! You'll have to make this a habit outside of fringe!

Whoops, I should have specified: This one's guest-starring Dave Nuttycombe again, behind the camera and on the edit deck.

by the way, I too had to make a spreadsheet... it's the only way! But as I am in a show (Promenading with Lunatics), I can only see about 10 shows (or less)
