I went to Amalfi's based on the review the CITY PAPER featured last Wednesday and absolutely LOVED it. My friend is a vegetarian and wanted the eggplant parmesian (which I discouraged based on the review), but at the end of the evening, when her plate was licked clean, she ordered a second helping of the eggplant to take home to her two kids to share. The white pizza with cheese is certainly a tasty dish and I agree with the reviewer that you should not miss it - chewy, stringy, tasty, yummy! I had the talapia in white sauce, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and my husband had the tortellini in a devine mushroom cream sauce - OUTSTANDING! We did take an order of bread home with us, and lots of left-overs. This place really knows how to feed you - ITALIAN style.

Amalfi is hard to find, but the trek there is well worth it. Everyone raves about their white pizza, and because it was my first time, I gave in to the hype and decided to order it. I usually don't like anything overly cheesy, but oh my....it was delicious. Probably the highlight of the meal in my opinion! I had calamari with linguine in a butter garlic sauce, and my boyfriend had the linguine carbonara which both were equally wonderful. The only down side of the meal was the house white wine, which wasn't that great.
