From the neighborhood you might guess pretentious and stuffy, possibly mafia-esque. But inside, it's really pretty comfortable, with a '70s-era family restaurant charm. Plastic plants and well-worn furnishings make this a place you can bring the kids or a date and be comfortable. We had the veal picatta (fantastic) and parmesean (not bad either). Served with a healthy side of pasta, we were stuffed by the end of the meal. They take the Entertainment card, which pushed our bill from $30 to $18 including tip. Attentive service from the waitstaff was appreciated, but annoying diner next to us on his cellular phone was not! Regardless, a nice lower-key way to spend our wedding anniversary. I'd go back without reservation.

Kind of a neighborhood place but there are some pretty demanding neighbors including celebs who apparently dine there a lot. Excellent veal, comfortable atmosphere, very good service and not expensive. Many good wines. They also do pizza though I've never tried it. I usually get the veal the half dozen times I've been there.
