This place is SOOOOOOO good! The chicken is awesome and the sides are really, really good too. But what this place has that I LOVE is seco de pollo, a rich, flavorful chicken stew that goes over a mound of rice. If you dump a bunch of the green hot sauce on your seco de pollo, you won't be able to stop eating your food until every last morsel is gone. I think they put crack in this stuff because its totally addictive.

This is probably the best of the Peruvian chicken places in Falls Church, a market that is becoming crowded. Value is good and the sides are good. The beans are very good mixed with the rice. I pretty much second what the other reviewer said about this place. It is worth waiting in line for, when there is a line. I prefer to take out than sit in there.

Though short on external niceties -- a couple of Incan ornaments struggle to offset the plain yellow walls and exposed electrical wires -- chargrilled chicken lovers still wait dutifully in line at the non-descript Super Chicken. The rows and rows of chickens, spinning deliciously into oblivion atop a pile of pure wood charcoal, are usually enough to keep first-time visitors from even noticing that this Peruvian-syle eatery also offers everyday lunch fare like hamburgers and deli sandwiches -- but who can blame them. The standard lunch platters come piled high with perfectly seasoned chicken, two sides (including some of the crispiest yuca in all of Falls Church, savory black beans, or traditional steak fries), as well as a maddeningly divine green chile sauce and spice-infused mayonnaise dipping sauce. Patrons can also scour the drink case for refreshments from across South and Central America (Super Chicken stocks everything from the syrupy-sweet Inca Cola to Tamarindo-style drinks), and all are welcome to top of their meal with the confectionary delight that is a fresh alfajor (a caramel cookie sandwich dusted with powdered sugar).
