First, there was a 15 minute wait because there was no hostess to seat us. When she finally did, it was another 5 minutes until the waitress showed up. After she took our order and gave us lukewarm coffee in unwashed cups with caked on food on them, we saw her leave the building to go on break. Appalled and fed up with what we saw so far, we just decided to leave before we got frustrated any further. Not to mention we didn't even get any beignets to nibble on as we waited! We will NEVER go back there again!

Sadly, Copeland's just isn't that good any more. Ever since I started going - around 8 years ago - I've noticed that the quality of the good has gone consistently downward. The food tends to be too greasy, over-spiced, and over-priced. The service is sketchy, at best, and the menu selections - though numerous - are essentially the same (meat/seafood, spice, cheese, pasta/potatoes). The portions are large, but the food is really not great to eat later.
