I visit this Clyde’s location often – at least once per week. Appetizers are excellent – with no exceptions -- and main dishes are good or very good. Pricing is reasonable. During Clyde’s happy hours, it is very noisy though. Service needs some improvement, particularly in the great rear dining rooms – the tables are always very neat but the service is too slow! No problems with parking, great location, lighting, etc.

Outstanding raw bar, clams on the half shell were delicious...and a great bargain. Beer was a good complement!!

Super raw bar for oysters and clams on the half shell. Good beer and service recommendations were great. Crab cake sandwich was better than most in the DC/Northern VA area!!

I think Clyde's happy hours are great. The bar food tastes wonderful and it's even better with the happy hour price. My favorites are the crab cake sandwich and the half price oysters. The bartenders makes great drinks, but it's hard to get their attention sometimes so if you're like me and want immediate service, then you're better off ordering two drinks at a time.

Went there with my brothers. They got Hamburgers and asked for them Medium Rare. They both came out close to well done. Service was ok, not as attentive as needed. They did comp our beers because of the botched Burgers. I had a cup of butternut squash apple cider soup, which I must say was really good. For some reason I ordered the Feta Potato cakes. They were ok. I guess I wasn't in the mood for something big.
Out Waitress had 9 pens on her and told us she had to have six with her at all times. Those kinds of rules in corporate establishments really turn me of. I feel like I am in a store rather than a restaurant. And I got that feeling at Clyde's.

The food is consistently good at this Clyde's location; however, service needs polishing. You never know how long you are going to have to wait between drinks to appetizers to the main course and we always have to ask for the check and then wait some more. It is a great neighborhood restaurant, but the service, especially in the rear dining rooms, needs attention by the management.
