This is the best burger spot on the Hill. Celebrity chef Spike Mendelson reinvents the burger and does a pretty good job at it. Great selection of burgers, excellent fries (and onion petals), along with some of the best shakes I've ever had. Hard to find a seat inside, especially when it's hot, so be prepared to look around for a bit or take it out and eat somewhere else. Nonetheless, it's your best spot for a burger in the area, if a little bit on the pricey side.

I was worried before going that this place had been to hyped up for me, but despite all the hpe, I was still really impressed with this place. The burger was as tasty as I had heard...I got the Grill (carmelized onions, mushrooms, cheese). It was cooked to the perfect pink and the cheese amount was just right. The fries were also tasty, but the best part was the mayo-dipping sauces. The only drawback is having to pay almost $8 for a burger when all is said and done. It looked smaller than your average burger, but it was filling and tasty, so the smaller portion was probably a good thing. The fries were a good size for the price...and enough to share between 2.
