I love this place ...
very friendly service, polite and it seems that teamwork is really matters here.
4 of us were being served by 3 different servers!
They really helped each other to assure guest's satisfaction.
Food was great ...
the only downside was when we were ordered hot tea we were served with the cheap green tea .

This is one of DC's best Thai restaurants. Great place for your quick meal out before a movie. The pad thai and spring rolls are excellent and well worth the trip.

Can a Thai restaurant also feel like a neighborhood dive? And can said dive also come off as hygenically sound? Is there anywhere I can take my vegetarian sister where she will get good selection, taste, and value? Yes indeed. We're big supporters of Jandara -- and she doesn't even like Thai.

Though it was late in the evening and I did not expect to wait for seating there were quite a few patrons there. To me this was an indicator. The waiter and waitress was kind and polite. My order was delivered in a timely matter.
The food was delicious and hot. This was a typical Thai plate and I would truly recommend it as a place to enjoy a nice meal with a very pleasant atmosphere. Thai food can be spicy hot so if you like spicy food that tastes good this is a good place to go.

I enjoyed the fresh orchids placed on the tables.
Regarding the food, the dishes were flavorful. I had a noodle dish with chicken - the noodles were tasty, however the chicken was overcooked and rather hard to chew. My partner ordered a dish that came with rice. The portion of rice was a small bowl, and they charge for extra portions.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience here - it was a good value and the service was great.

Given the limited options in this area, this restarant is a decent option. I've been there a couple of times and I've never had to wait for a table. The Pad Thai was a little bland and it came with a lemon wedge instead of lime. I would go back but order something different.
