there was a lot of food, and it was good, but not spectacular.

City Place isn't known for being fab, but this restaurant is an exception. The decor is nice, there is a belly dancer every night, and the "chicken donut" (as my friend calls the bastilla) is excellent (way better than Marrakesh's). The price is about the same as Marrakesh, but I think the food is better, and you have more choices, though the atmosphere is not as great. While it's not expensive for some, it is a bit too much for me. I only came here because I had a gift certificate. Everything we tried was delicious (all of the chicken tangines and appetizers, as well as one lamb sausage dish), but I can't justify spending that much money for a meal more than once or twice a year.

The restaurant is at the entrance of a shopping mall. There is belly dancing later in the evening.
Portions were small for the price. They served a mediocre Algerian wine for the price of a premium wine. It's a good place to try - once.
