I went for dinner, not for the bar, and the dinner experience was marred by the smoke. The tastefully decorated restaurant is cozy but small. Our clothes/coats smelled of smoke upon leaving there and because of this we will not be back. That said the food was excellent, and the drink menu diverse (although they were out of the first drink I ordered - mojito). I liked the sweet potato fires and warm almonds. The waitress was friendly and knew the menu. Great place, except for the smoke.

We arrived at 5:30, and for an hour we were the only diners in the place... So our meal was like our own private party in a cool, modern atmosphere. Not to mention the 7 in our party took up every table they had. Burgers with gorgonzola were delicious, as were the fried calamari. Complimentary fried chickpeas were an interesting addition, and the sweet potato fries were outstanding. Service was congenial and informal. One problem encountered: restaurant has daily specials, but the register does not recognize them. We'd go back, definitely.

On a Friday night, this place was crowded with groups and couples. After about 20 minutes my friend and I were able to get a table. We ordered the eggplant appetizer. It was not worth the money, chewy and a small serving. The beer selection was so-so, but get more for your money down the street at Galaxy Hut. This might be the "it" place to be in Arlington, but it is crowded and far from cheap. Grab a drink, but don't spend all your money on food here.

Finally a place that uses BIG martini glasses, I have been so irritated by all the bars in the area that have high priced martinis and small glasses, Eleventh does it right, NICE hefty servings. I recently went to Eleventh on Thursday and this is a great place, the Seared Tuna with apples was great the servers were very accommodating and for $9.00 you can't beat it
