Really good food. It may seem a little pricey but you're paying for the service and atmosphere. Although my experience was a little different due to the fact that we had a very large number of people, the service was still pretty good. I would definitely recommend for others.

I visited as a guest of another person. I had the salmon fillet, broccoli and chocolate sin cake plus red wine and coffee. The broccoli was very undercooked. I needed to cut it with a knife and it clearly was only steamed lightly. The salmon fillet was really a good size, but they put a lot of pepper on it and that covered up the taste of the salmon. The waiters have a bad habit of refilling your wine glass every 5 seconds. So, you can end up drinking too much if you are not careful. The chocolate sin cake was sorta like chocolate cheese cake and I really liked it, but the slice was very small compared to the salmon. The steak house salad with balsamic vinaigrette was ok - nothing special. This is a good place to visit when you are really hungry since the large portions do fill you up.

Ruth's Chris is always a pleasant experience and each one has its own unique appeal. This location sports a lounge with live music to compliment your dinner, unlike the location in Dupont Circle. The food is prepared just like in the other locations around the city and it's excellent. The cuts are very generous and priced accordingly. The wine list isn't too shabby for a "chain" steak house either. I believe this location is newer than the other locations and it caters to a much younger crowd than other locations around the city. I've been to this location several times and the service has always been outstanding - from the servers and even the managers who come to your table to greet you and make you feel welcome.

I was just looking for a restaurant to have dinner at the bar. No problem finding a seat at this place. Unlike most of the other area restaurants, this has no happy hour, so I was the only one at the bar for awhile. The bartenders were friendly and able, though not particularly personable. They aren't the ones who serve you, though. The food is brought out by someone else directly from the kitchen, which means you're served from behind and around because you're sitting up too high to be served from over the shoulder. The onion soup and bread budding were good, though I've had better. The Sidecar was excellent and reasonably priced. The seared tuna steaks with lump crab meat and diced peppers were delicious. The atmosphere is very stuffy (even for D.C.), though ESPN was showing on the TV's with the sound up. I've had the opportunity to visit many Ruth's Chris restaurants before and hadn't until now. I don't think I was missing much.

The service is excellent- one feels that the waiter is only waiting on your table without feeling intrusive. The steaks are well-prepared and beautifully executed. The sides are normal steakhouse sides. The desserts are well-presented but hardly 'wow' material. Definitely a solid meal in a nice atmosphere.
