Really nice "build your own" burgers that they got just right. A little more attention to our drinks would have been nice, but overall a nice experience. Too dark in there for regular visits.
I've been here for breakfast and a weekend lunch. The breakfast rush was pretty crowded, and the food was pretty good, but I had a much better time when I went for lunch. We got an assortment of appetizers to share around the table instead of a traditional lunch. All appetizers were great, with a decent vegetarian selection.
A local hangout with great food, great beer and friendly service. We sat at the bar, which is more fun at a place like Tunnicliff's. You hear all the local chatter and have fun with the bartenders. A fun, easy place to eat and hang out.
Tunnicliff's Tavern is my favorite restaurant on the Hill. There is always friendly service and the food is just good. No fancy display, just healthy portions at a really good price. If your ever don't like what your eating, send it back, they aim to please when it comes to your stomach. The bar is always fun, and the crowd is always cool.
