The bill included 3 pints of domestic beer and a bottle of viognier.
The crab cake special was a hit. The rockfish filet was a little small; but well executed.
Our waiter, whose day job is as a capitol hill intern, had some trouble opening the wine. We noticed his boss noticing his difficulty. We suspect he'll be taking a course in corkscrewmanship.

Great location with free parking! Great menu -- burger or crabcake sandwich, great salads, pasta and fish. Lots to choose from no matter what you're in the mood to eat. Try the outdoor bar too on the side of the plaza. Totally different from the Georgetown Clyde's -- much nicer.

Service was good: the greeter was very friendly, the waitress was attentive, and the server offered to take back a cheeseburger when informed that the cheese ordered was Meunster, not Swiss. One burger was pretty close to the requested medium-rare, but the other was not. The French fries tasted like they had been sitting around awhile.

The old Clyde's decor is back; complete with automobiles and an elevated train running around the restaurant.
Parking in adjacent garage is free for three hours.
The salade Nicoise lacked anchovies: another casualty of American pop taste. The waitress was unaware that salade Nicoise is supposed to have anchovies.
On Mondays, all bottles of wine are half-price. The bill included a bottle of (full-price) wine.

Service, which can make or break a nice meal out, was spotty at best. It took forever just to get bread and water and while the staff dealt with specific issues brought to their attention, they were otherwise non-attentive.
