We've gone about 4 times, love the food - but every time we go the service is worst than the last. It just seems like its a requirement to be pissed off to work there--even the bartender was angry and told us about it...

The issue here seems to be the service, not the food. We've been twice, once sitting at the bar and once at a regular table and the food was outstanding both times. The service at the bar was also great -- the Serbian immigrant could have been a stand-up commedian & was friendly & knowledgeable. The second time in the restaurant the service was abrupt, but competent and I don't go to restaurants for service anyway. The third time the "greeter" at the front desk was so rude and dismissive as to be really offputting - enough that we haven't been back, despite the good food.

The pizza is just like what you buy in Italy. The flavor was great! We both got Margherita Pizza & were very happy. For dessert, we had creme brulee & tiramisu. The creme brulee had a slight lemon flavor & was topped with strawberries & vanilla ice cream. It was a nice combination of flavors. The tiramisu was also excellent. Not soggy like I have had at other places. We also enjoyed the moscato wine. It is a very slow-paced place, just like in Italy. Don't go in there expecting a 100% Americanized experience. Highly recommended. We will be going back.

This Italiano restaurant is molto buon! This was my third visit to the restaurant within the last 2 months. It's a little pricey for lunch, but well worth tasting the amazing fresh flavors!!! The Spinaci e Ricotta Pizza is superb! Not too much garlic or spinach, and the ricotta cheese blended with other cheeses is mouth-watering. The Panzanella salad is a great mix of cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes doused in vinegar and olive oil. You will not be displeased with your meal here. The colors of the decor are bright orange and coral giving the feel of the amalfi coast. And the waiters must all be from Italia, because they all have accents and laugh when I try to practice my Italiano. You must try this place!

Disappointing:
We live out of town and bought a gift certificate for our parents during their trip to D.C. My grandmother was hospitalized, and Bebo Trattoria would not refund the gift certificate. I am sure there are numerous other Italian restaurants in the area, and the majority of them would be more sympathetic to an ill Grandmother.

though the wait was long, the canelonni was superb. however the service was something to complain about, our italian speaking waiter with a russian name kept asking or more accurately pushing us to order extra dishes and even brought an extra glass of wine without asking which red wine I was already drinking.
