Suit Yourself

I too, am another Plaintiff in absentia with a quick critique (“Washington City Paper Seeks Journalism Bankruptcy,” 10/10).

You are overstaffed with mediocre writers, chasing uninteresting topics, all of whom write as though they are persuing the “Great American Novel.” With all things occuring worldwide with much controversy, you fiddle “while Rome burns.” Who has the time to read all that gibberish?

Then, I always looked forward to your “Letters” section, up front with my favorite cartoon, “Red Meat,” with its dry humor. Why did you erase?

Then in the Matches section, the simplier the better. Instead you’ve hired all those sex-brokers, hungry for a slice of the revenue. Why not yourselves, as the sole entrepreneur? Charge a hefty fee, but keep it simple!
