I was trained in traditional printmaking, but was never much of a perfectionist and was always interested in the small mistakes where the hand of the artist and the texture and nature of the material shine through. Since graduating from school I started silk screening using a low tech method involving cut out stencils and a small screen. I love the potential for repetition with variation and the tension between geometric design and hand-made imperfection. But that's just the academic-mumbo jumbo. I also love making cool fun shirts that people want to wear. Every shirt I make is unique.
