Politics: Gray Disturbs Fenty's Peace

Posted by Mike DeBonis
D.C. Sports Bog, friend and occasional poker adversary of City Desk, last week asked presumptive D.C. Council Chair Vincent Gray (more of a hardball guy than a roundball guy, we thought) to render his opinion on the NBA's new basketballs. The tests included a dribbleability comparison, which led to a run-in between the mayor-to-be and the chairman-to-be:

The councilmember dribbled the balls around for practice, until someone from Adrian Fenty's office called from downstairs to try to figure out what the noise was.

Fenty and his people should buy a dictionary and look up the word "fun."

Then, after reading that it sometimes a good thing to have some fun, Fenty should re-hire Alec Evans.
