Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis is an exceptional last play by an exceptional playwright. The Wit's End Production drove me to wit's end. How can you host a collegiate production by three actors with no history in acting (no bios were provided in the program), and who have such little talent or presence as actors, and charge $15? I wouldn't mind this if it were done as a college class project, which is how it plays. Look: I'm a playwright produced in NY and in Europe, and a theater critic with international credits. Sarah Kane deserves only the best, or at least something to grasp on to by performers who have something to give... this was terrible... a waste of time and money.
I really enjoyed the Fringe programs I saw. Except "You Don't Know Dick". The Post review was kind. It was shite. For a moment I thought perhaps it was written by Cheney to torture to audiences of obvious liberally leaning folks.
