Luke’s Lobster Opens Today in Georgetown

Luke's Lobster Opens in GeorgetownLuke's Lobster opens its third area location today in Georgetown.

Its arrival is a homecoming of sorts for founder Luke Holden, who graduated from Georgetown five years ago. The two-story shop, located in the former Philly Pizza space, will be outfitted with lobster gear from Holden's old boat. Holden, the son of a lobsterman-turned-shellfish processor, was born and raised in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Expect the same seafood menu (lobster and shrimp rolls, clam chowder) as other Luke's locations in Penn Quarter and Bethesda, along with "Blue Monsters," ice cream cookies made with Gifford's Maine blueberry ice cream and chocolate chip cookies.
