Oh, Truck It: Dorothy Moon’s Gourmet Burgers Is D.C.’s Latest Mobile Food Vendor (For Now)

With all the various foodstuffs available from mobile vendors these days, you'd think by now someone would have cornered the market for curbside burgers. Not so, say the beef-obsessed bloggers at Burger Days, but that could soon change. Set to roll out for the first time on D.C.-area streets this month: Dorothy Moon's Gourmet Burgers.

The menu consists of five burgers, all priced between $7 to $9: "The Tony Pepperoni (homemade marinara sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni), The Mexican Entourage (guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapenos and cheddar), The Classic (lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, cheddar, Swiss, mayo, ketchup and mustard), The James Madison (grilled teriyaki mushrooms, bacon and Swiss) and one of our favorite combos: a fried egg, bacon and cheddar mix called The Dorothy."
