Georgetown’s Ice Cream Gap to Be Filled With…Nonfat Frozen Yogurt

On April Fools Day, the planning geeks over at Greater Greater Washington identified D.C.'s vast cupcake desert, parts of town that are not served by lack full-service and non-full-service cupcakeries. Georgetown, naturally, has no shortage of places that peddle frosted treats, but what about ice cream?

As Georgetown Metropolitan reports, the stretch of Wisconsin Avenue between M and O streets NW currently sits in the neighborhood's "Ice Cream No-Man's Land."

If you are at Wisconsin and O St., you have to walk over a block and a half to find an ice cream shop. Well that awful situation is about to come to an end...

Why? An IceBerry is slated to move on in. Mind you, there is already a Georgetown location for the nonfat frozen yogurt chain, over on M Street NW.

The more, the merrier? We'll probably stick to Dolcezza, though. The black sesame gelato is fabulous!

JERRY: You know, Kramer's gonna clean up on this place.

    GEORGE: What do you mean?

    JERRY: He invested in it.

    GEORGE: No kidding?

JERRY: Yeah. We've been coming here everyday. This is so f*cking good...
