I grew up in the village of Avoca, NY where the diner used to reside. I found out recently that it was moved to DC. I hope that it fares well and I will have to make a road trip through DC sometime to check it out!!

Woot! I've been dying for a breakfast place (other than Jimmy T's, which I dearly love) to open on the Hill. Any word on what they're doing w/r/t coffee? Sorry I'm a bit of coffee snob now, I've been ruined by Peregrine, Sidamo, and Sova.

Thanks for reminding me why not to open a business in DC, Tim. Those poor guys at Cap City really have had a shite time. Lucky for them I love breakfast and will try my darndest to visit regularly once they finally open.
