I'm fairly certain a new banh mi place near me bakes their own bread. It's a new Vietnamese deli in the Hechinger Plaza, where Gamasot is, on Backlick.

They make pretty good banh mi, I must say, and if nothing else, cheap sandwiches (about $2.40) and cheap bread (about 40 *cents*!).

Yum.

I think the No. 1 combo and the No. 2 grilled pork are fine choices, though either way, make sure to ask for extra garnishes!

Tim, I've been to Ba Le a dozen times (10 minutes from my house), but never to Bahn Mi D.C. Sandwich, even though it's 5 minutes from my office!

Of the 24 sandwich combinations, which ones do you like?
