I find this opinion to be rather shallow and quite wrong. There are sites just for guys with small size, there we don't have to put up with your types. You people don't need to know about it. fuck off Amanda Hess and I hope you die Steven Pasternack, people like you make it harder for the rest of use.

I would love to find a gay male partner - actually a long term relationship is preferred who is not a 'size queen'. Even sexually (for casual sex and pleasure) I'd like to find a guy who doesn't care about the size of a penis. I was born male with what is medically called 'a concealed penis'. It intrigues me that some FTM transexuals actually have penises that while not 'real' are visibly larger than my own (which when flaccid looks more like an 'inny belly button'). Interestingly I am able to have an erection 'inside' myself which baffles the docs. So far no gay, bi, or straight guy interested in exploring his 'bi/gay' side is interested in such a unique situation. when I have an 'outy' erection it's slightly smaller than average. Despite what media and people say size does seem to matter. The biggest thing I have is my heart, but, alas, not even a few of the 'men of my dreams' that I've loved have been man enough to want to settle down with a man without a cock.

To be fair, the Babbit (? I don't know either and I'm way too lazy to google) incident was pretty isolated (last I checked, there was no widespread, institutional castration of men) and ended alright (I mean, didn't he later do porn?). Whereas the genital mutilation of women is a widespread form of cultural torture and misogyny in Africa, happening to thousands of women a year.

Not really defending people who go "haha his penis got cut off" because I bet that's not really funny to dudes. But there's a reason female genital mutilation jokes are pretty much horrible and nonexistant, because it's a completely different situation.

I feel like all of this "misandry" talk falls into that category. What men are experiencing is an EQUALIZING, where they no longer enjoy of the privilege of dominating the job market and the ability to do pretty much whatever they want (of course, I'm talking mostly of WHITE, STRAIGHT men, who pretty much all make up the MRA movement). They don't understand what they're experiencing is normal life shit, not discrimination and hate. It's the really mild stuff that the rest of us have been dealing with for a long time.

It's just that the time of white, male priviledge is over. Shit happens to everyone, even you, and the law is not always automatically on your side anymore. Want to be a real "man"? Accept it and stop whining about it. You really look like a pussy AND an asshole when you whine every time your s/o makes you do the laundry. Laundry does not misandry make.

I think John's original post is spot on. It's okay to make John Bobbitt (sp?) jokes, but if you were to joke about the mutilation of a woman's genitals and you'd be a monster. IMO, both are out of bounds.

Can't have your cake and eat it too.

My college roommate used to talk about how he was attracted to women with small breasts, which he referred to as "apple breasts". He used to say "More than a mouthful is wasted." Does that apply here as well?

Yes, John Dias, this WOULD be objectifying to men as well as women, IF anyone were actually taking it seriously. Men are just so sensitive, shrill and most likely hormonal. Sound familiar????

Not to jump in on your question to Amanda, I'm sure she'll still answer it if she finds your question worth addressing...but whether or not that happens, you should take note of the fact that both articles she has written on "7 or better" have had a disdainful and sarcastic tone. She has, in fact, gone so far as to say

"7orbetter.com, in other words, is the perfect spot for hooking up shallow penis-seekers and conceited penis-holders. They’re perfect for one another."

In light of this, you can no longer fall back on the "you feel perfectly fine with objectifying men but you complain when it's about women!" offense that you're setting up for...what other reason do you have to ask this question?

Amanda, what would you think of a site like "Double C or better?" Just wondering what your "inner feminist" would say... Would it be objectification, or just a way for "discriminating gentlemen" and lesbians to match their sexual preferences?
