$25,000 Reward Offered in Transgender Stabbing Case
The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a reward poster in the death of transgender woman Joshua Mack, a.k.a. “Na Na Boo” (pictured). The flier, which you can download here [PDF], doesn’t include any intel on possible suspects. It does, however, promise a $25,000 reward for “anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.” Information on how to tip the MPD in this case is after the jump.
On Wednesday August 26, 2009, at approximately 1430 hours, Joshua Mack aka “Nana-boo” was found stabbed in the 200 Block of Q Street, Northwest. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding the incident.
This case is under investigation by members of the Department Homicide Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Detective Jonathan Clingerman 202-497-4994 and his partner Detective Al Batton 202-486-0620 or the Metropolitan Police department’s Command Information Center (CIC) at 202-727-9099. Anonymous information may also be forwarded to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
