I’m hardly a raging feminist, but I’ve found myself logging in to HuffPo less and less in recent months exactly because of this. Every time I do, there’s more and more flesh (practically always female) scrolling by in the sidebar. It’s like, enough, already. It was getting to the point where I was starting to feel like I had to say, “I really do read it for the articles.”

As an omnivore, I don’t swallow PETA doctrine but… I think it’s wonderful that there is a subset of humans that do. It’s push and pull and they foster discussion. And they feed some folks lower down on the food chain, too.

I couldn’t disagree w/ you more. I think this is a wonderful tool for bringing attention to the plight of non-human animals. You people are good at building the straw man, aren’t you?
