Daily Palin: Around the World on Alaska’s Dime Edition
Welcome back to “Daily Palin,” in which we detail Sarah Palin’s refusal to go away—every day. The morning news from backstage at the Alaskan-funded "Curves" ribbon-cutting ceremony, below:
FIRST DUDE WINTER SPORTS CORNER: Above: Todd Palin's yearbook photo from Wasilla High. A-woo-ga! HOWEVER: does that mean Sarah was lying when she told reporters, "Todd grew up in Dillingham... after high school he realised that he had to leave that village... capitalised on an opportunity upon the North Slope... using the skills he learned growing up in rural Alaska...Todd left the village, he has been working upon the slope... it was a win win situation for him... he would come back to the village... blah blah..." ? (rough transcription courtesy of Palingates).
SOME DUDE: Asks if Levi Johnson can be arrested for statutory rape for doin' Bristol when she was 17 and he was 18. NOPE: The age of consent in Alaska is 16, says some other dude.
CAUGHT READING BOOK: Palin Confusion spots this photo of Sarah holding a book (!!) A quick zoom reveals the tome to be The Dangerous Days of Daniel by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge. A quick trip to the local library reveals The Dangerous Days of Daniel to be "a Young Adult book, looks like Sci-fi adventure." Nice work team!
PALIN PAYING: Sarah will cough up $6,800 to cover nine family trips she had originally billed to Alaska.
