Gray, Bowser Spend More Than $1 Million Combined

 
If you didn't get paid by one of the leading District mayoral campaigns over the last two weeks, you weren't trying hard enough. Both Vince Gray and Muriel Bowser spent more than $1 million combined in just the two weeks since March 10, according to new campaign finance reports filed last night.

If U.S. Attorney Ron Machen wants to get Vince Gray out of the mayoral suite, he'll have to do more than indict him. In an appearance on NewsChannel 8 today, Gray said that he won't resign from office if he's charged in connection with the 2010 shadow campaign to get him elected.
