What Voters Think of the Changes to D.C.’s Food Scene

New construction, trendy restaurants, expensive drinks: For a local politician on the make, the 14th Street NW corridor these days is basically one-stop shopping for talking points on economic development and the District’s boom times.

Excluded Andy Shallal: Shame on WUSA9!

With eight people competing for the Democratic mayoral nomination, debate organizers hoping to focus on the frontrunners have been pointing to polls as a way to exclude the lagging four candidates. But what happens when polls suggest that there are five leaders, not four?
Organizers for tonight's WUSA9 debate had originally planned to include only Vince [...]

What’s Ahead for Muriel Bowser and Vince Gray?

Hours after Ward 4 D.C. Councilmember Muriel Bowser won a not-quite-decisive victory in her own ward’s mayoral straw poll in February, one Bowser supporter pitched LL on his grand theory of the race. Evans Criticizes Bowser’s Experience in New Mailers

Gray Defends Himself in Televised Debate

Vince Gray lowered himself into the shark tank for the NewsChannel 8 debate last night to face two scandal-hungry opponents, and also Jack Evans.
