Feisty Kwame Brown Lives on on Twitter

As D.C. Council Chairman, Kwame Brown had a reputation as a tussler. A day before he resigned from office, he even shoved reporter Mark Segraves into a wall.

Brown has been out of the Wilson Building for two years thanks to U.S. Attorney Ron Machen, and it looks like he won't be pursuing the at-large bid he was reportedly considering. Still, Brown's pugnaciousness lives on on social media. Here's Brown trash-talking former 2014 Vince Gray campaign manager Chuck Thies last night:

Waiting six days to reply to a tweet doesn't even qualify as l'esprit de l'escalier (look it up, philistines), but LL's not going to quibble with a guy who posts painstakingly arranged workout videos on Instagram.

The last time Brown and Thies got in a Twitter spat, Brown claimed that someone had stolen his phone, then used it to call Thies an "undercover racist." There's no District politics-loving bandit involved this time, though:

Good comeback, though not very snappy, timewise.

Kwame at large, he's no Jack Bauer.

Wow, Kwame, I remember when you plead out... nice work clown.

Hey guys, remember when One City was, like, a thing, instead of a punchline? Noodlez, SEis4ME, etc? Remember? It all seems so long ago...
