Councilwoman Cheh - Poor families needs gainful employment to feed their families not liberal handouts to keep them from being independent. You can help by introducing affordable housing legislation to keep a roof over the heads of poor people. Poor people will not walk in bad weather for a meal when a storm keeps schools closed - will you and family do that?

Affordable housing isn't a handout? Who do you think is paying to keep it affordable?
