If Mendelson wanted to actually improve the ethics of the city council he would support the intent of banning felons from any future office. Yes, a convicted felon can serve his or her time and return to society but it does not mean the city council (who are suppose to uphold the laws) need that individual back on the council. It would be nice for a city council member to know ahead of time if they wish to commit a felony they will loose their job for good. Raise the bar Mendelson, think it through.

  • DC Antics

Mendelson has already been involved in a scandal involving felons, applications and disclosure. One would think he would want a firm policy.
