In regards to the DC Public Trust petition:

1) How would this law stand up again Citizens United?
2) Is there support on the Hill for this (they have to approve it, remember)?
3) Why are unions left out? They are big donors, as well as major bundlers.
4) Any thought as to what this will do to the current system (ie unintended consequences)? Corporations in DC will find a way to donate, I believe. I would hate to see PACs invade the city.

Personally I would hope they can move it to Walter Reed and build some residential/retail in that area.

They need to make apartments for young progressives that recently graduated or are in pursuit of there Masters.

And if they build residential/commercial properties, thats more opportunities for people to work

I'm not a twit so I don't use twitter. I like to think of myself as someone who can sustain a thought that takes more than 140 characters to express. So I will leave my question here.

As you know, the 14th Street bus barn was originally the 14th Street trolley barn and it was constructed over 100 years ago when the area was very rural. There are plans to construct a facility on the Walter Reed campus specifically designed to handle buses. Do you support renovating the current bus barn or constructing a larger facility on Walter Reed and redeveloping the current (historical landmark) for uses more in keeping with the neighborhood?
