This truly sad! As a black man, my heart hurts because black men are mostly seen as 'savages' and thugs daily on the news. Knowing this is not truth, black men must work twice as hard as white males in America. Kwame,Gray, and other black men should know better because we are being watched closely.

This madness has turned into a circus. I need a drink of Scotch. What a mess!

Correction: I am drinking now. LOL

For $100,000 a year I expect proper grammar.

To Steve, DITTO! To Southeast Ken, LOL! This guy clearly has issues! Why would you expect an invitation to a press conference regarding your termination? If he felt his termination was unjustified, then he'd seek counsel and say absolutely nothing to the press. Clearly that didn't happen. Showing up and boo hoo-ing to the press speaks volumes of his character.

Sulaimon is on "administrative leave" which means he's getting paid for not reporting to work. Not bad for a UDC graduate. I don't know how anyone could hire a guy who speaks like this to a position that pays $110,000/year. Not to mention the job is helping oversee Medicaid funding, which requires more than average intelligence. What a joke! Gray is no better than Fenty.

Do anyone else need a drink? The night is just getting started and reading about Kwame Brown, Vincent Gray, and about this guy, I am almost finished with a fifth of Scotch. LOL

I had better make some coffee. It's almost time for the 'Vampire Daries' on the WB channel. I rather watch a show about vampires than to read about these circus clowns. LOL

Worst Days in DC History: 1967 -- President Lyndon B. Johnson abolishes the Board of Commissioners that had run the city since 1874. He creates a single executive and a nine-member council, all appointed.

1973 -- Home Rule Charter approved by Congress.

1975 -- Walter E. Washington takes over as first elected mayor of Washington

    DC Can Not Govern Itself.

    @NEWilliams; I agree.

Catania "I don't know Brown from Oprah" LOL. CM DC should have a show on CommedyCentral. Like we always chanted at IV-League sports games: "What's the color of $h!t?" .....

To Harold of Cap Hill and the rest of you "white boys" do not say anything about anything that blacks are doing as it relates to money and conflicts, until you speak to Cheney/Bush and the BILLIONS of taxpayers dollars given to HALLIBURTON -the fact that this company and all of it subsidiaries STOLE MONEY and no one got fired from the Pentagon or the White House let's me know that RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL IN DC AND THE GOOD OLD (WHITE BOY NETWORK) US of A. I do not drink, but I will lift a glass when you start dealing in equal justice.

  12. #12

Lee: That is an interesting revelation you've presented, that only people of one race are deeply disgusted with all this nonsense from our city's gov't. That must have been some census and tally you conducted overnight. Where do we send you your $110K?

  13. #13

In my opinion, the comments about UDC are totally unwarranted, irrelevant and racist.

Crying when you are being fired shows bad character? That is a new one on me.

To be a criminal or even an ex-criminal, you have to be convicted of a crime. That didn't happen.

IMO, Brown is the victim here.

Sulaimon Brown is getting ready to be the next big youtube rap sensation...

The real corruptions on this matter are Ms. Catania, Gray and Brown, who were first at war over the SE Hospital until the compromise derived via Brown fear of David.

So, when Catania learned of Brown's hiring, and recalled his connection w/ the Mayor he found this placement unbefitting.

We all agree that the salaries of Gray's Executive team as Fenty, are too DAMN high, across the board.

However, can any of us state that this young man was not able to effectively employ the work?

He needs a LAWYER right NOW, because scared-ass Gray will not get further involved?

Also, Catania will soon be blasted for his desire to propose Legislation, as if his ass is a DOCTOR w/o any degree of this caliber.

It is interesting, how Catania seems to be determined to Solicit for medical devices for WOMEN, while exempting the gender he prefers personally,

Today, this Mayor continues the path of permitting Fenty's lingering staff to remain in office, and hires Executive staff that supercede staff of the President of the United States.

The unfit and bias hiring practices of the past administration have transited onto the new administration.

In other words, Gray and Fenty are the same, as Ms. Catania tries to understand how it really feels being a woman that obviously wll never transpire.

Hopefully, that nasty red bump on her left cheek should be medically assessed for immediate removal.

Catania had a position on hospital legislation, on a pharmaceutical availability, and other matters under his oversight, and that is "The real corruptions on this matter" [sic]?

The "corruptions" aren't a buffoon mayoral candidate, with a dateless resume, school misspelled, no health-related fiduciary experience, stalked a 13yo girl, gun complication, unlawful entry complication, being presented to the public as THE most qualified candidate to whom they should cut a $110K paycheck?

May your powers of creative thinking nourish your distractions and delusions well.

Find Sulaimon's phone number. You'd make a great campaign manager for his next pursuit of 25 votes per ward (esp. with that grammar). The "corruptions" are telling you that translates to a crack at a six-figure perch.

Damn man...have some dignity about yo'self, shit!

It's just a job and if YOU are who you portray yo'self to be, then you can get another one, WOW!

Lesson to YOUTH/young men of DC, NEVER let em SEE you CRY!

" buffoon mayoral candidate, with a dateless resume, school misspelled, no health-related fiduciary experience, stalked a 13yo girl, gun complication, unlawful entry complication, being presented to the public as THE most qualified candidate"

SHIT, that reads like your average WHITE applicant for FED government jobs, only difference is, DADDY pulls some strings, GTFOH!

I stumbled upon Loose Lips by accident, and I must say that I am glad I did, because you all are hilarious.

$110,000 salary is not really "high paying" in this area.

As far as fudging one's resume is concerned, I thought everybody fudge their resume to some degree.

  21. #21

Brown is crying cuz he is off the gravy train.
