Obama Clan: Checking Out Local Digs

Last night, I attended the opening of 2501 Pennsylvania Ave, a new condo building just west of Washington Circle. Right after I grabbed my flute of champagne, I heard a voice wafting through the crowd, saying that someone from Barack Obama’s campaign was scoping out the building.

Today, I called Michele Topel, Vice President of Sales for Urban Pace, which is marketing the building. Well, there were two people working in connection with the campaign that were taking a peek at 2501Pennsylvania Ave, a 16-unit building, with listings ranging from $1.9 to $5 million.
