I'm getting very curious/nervous about the CityCenter development. There has yet to be a marque retailer announced yet. So far the few things that have been announced are all run of the middle non-destination stuff that already has locations elsewhere in DC.

This was supposed to be the Rockefeller Center/Union Square/Mag Mile of DC. Of course those hopes were always a little ambitious for just 2-blocks. But, I really, really hope the developer is just holding back on the big stuff for a grand announcement and this is not just signs of a dud in the making (see: The Tiffany’s turned Citibank on Conn and K).
