		<description>DC is &quot;less poor&quot; than it used to be? Um no, the city and its environs are rich, largely due to transfers of wealth from elsewhere in the country. That may be an uncomfortable reality, but it&#039;s reality nonetheless. As a DC resident, I&#039;m glad it&#039;s improving, but I&#039;m also mindful of what&#039;s driving it too.</description>
