could be a catalyst to bring the near southeast development eastward, except you have the navy yard in the middle. a pretty nice addition to hill east. its like free real estate</description>

		<description>This would basically be awesome. I would be concerned about the noise from the functional spans so close by but I think that could be mitigated. A park would be neat but this is very close to the yards park and the anacostia waterfront park. It will connect the two for pedestrians and bikes but  commercializing it would really make it a destination. The buildings could turn their back on the functional spans of 11th street and there could be a board walk between the retail and the water. Maybe you could throw some boat slips off it too and allow house boats.</description>
