Dupont Triangle Getting Rehabbed

I and others have complained a lot about the way the National Park Service treats its little scraps of land throughout the District. At least now, the Park Service appears to have decided to overcome its typical aversion to partnerships with small local non-profits and work with Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets—using funds obtained from the developers of 1000 Connecticut Avenue by the Dupont Circle Citizens Association—to give the triangle park at 20th, Q Street, and Connecticut Avenue NW (a.k.a. "Reservation 149") a facelift. New benches, trees, and fences are in the works, subject to your comment.

Should be nice. I look forward to seeing the outcome.
