WBJ says DC sales plunged 18% from the previous month, but average prices went up 4% from the same time last year. Wonder why they couldn't be consistent with their time frame, but anyway, those numbers mean that first time home buyers and middle class people aren't buying. The only ones buying are rich buyers and small developers doing mostly cash offers without much leverage. That's not a healthy market.
