Only Ten More Condos Available at Union Row

unionrow

Every week, I get an e-mail from Sadie Simpson, the sales manager over at Union Row, alerting me to that weekend's open house and the number of remaining condos.

This week, the number caught my eye. Back in April, Union Row was "Over 80 percent sold!" according to the little e-mail subject head. Now, they're down to just ten units out of 270.

And FYI: This ain't just any new condo building. This building is the second best new condo building in 2009 in Washington—at least according to our last Best of D.C. guide. (And, ahem, I wrote this item after talking to real estate agents and sources about their favorite buildings and completing a rather exhausting tour of several.)

It's located at the corner of 14th and v Streets NW.

What's the definition of "new" being used here? I agree it's a great building, but it's been selling for how many years now?

There really aren't very many "new" condo buildings in D.C.--in the sense that they reached construction completion in the last 12 months. So, I consider "new" buildings to be buildings still actively marketing original, never-been-sold units.
