Washington D.C. had a streetcar system until 1961 that used conduits buried in the streets to deliver the power.

If it worked 90 years (when these care were put in) it certain should work today.  Just figure it.  Sure, there&#039;s probably nobody making the parts right now.  That is a hurdle that you can overcome.</description>
