Scenes from the Mall’s Solar Decathlon Village
If you can’t bear crowds, I hope you didn’t attempt to visit the Solar Decathlon village on the National Mall this Sunday. The place was mobbed. That sign up there? It shows wait times to get in the houses. It was updated every 45 minutes–the exact length of time it would take for someone to crawl to the front door of the Illinois team’s house.
Thus, I tended to focus on exteriors…Here are a couple, including shot’s of the initial round of blue ribbon winners. I’ll post some more images later.
