Housing Complex: News and Fluff on D.C. Real Estate

Harris Teeter Coming to the Capitol Riverfront?

Apparently, I missed this tasty news bite: Harris Teeter has signed a letter of intent to open a store in the Capitol Riverfront area (otherwise known as Navy Yard/the Nationals Park neighborhood), the Washington Business Journal reported on Monday.

“The store near the ballpark will be 50,000 square feet in the ground floor of a building planned for 401 M St. SE as part of Forest City’s major mixed-use waterfront development, The Yards,” the article states. Harris Teeter reps aren’t commenting about the rumored deal.
