Capitol Hill Restoration Society’s Annual Home Tour This Weekend
The Capitol Hill Restoration Society’s Annual House and Garden Tour takes place this weekend. The event begins with a “twilight tour of homes” from 4pm-8pm on Saturday, May 9 and continues from 11am-5pm on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10. Advance tickets were $25 (I’m not sure if you can still pick them up today); This weekend, they’re selling for $30. If that’s too rich for your blood, or the projected thunder storms deter you, this 32-page brochure will surely satisfy the average person’s need for tales of restoration, pond-building, flea market buys, bird baths, etc.
