This part of town is not as solitary as everyone is making it out to be. You have a few bars and restaurants nearby such as Cantina Marina, Pier 7, Zanzibar, H20 and of course the world famous wharf. By the way I live in this complex and my unit is obscured by the tree.

No wonder he hated DC! Perhaps his experience would have been better had he picked an address better suited to his temperment. Something tucked against Rock Creek Park, or in the Palisades, or a detached house in Cleveland Park with beautiful gardens.
