Construction Humming Along in NoMa
This morning, I stepped out of the New York Avenue Metro station to an (unfortunately) unfamiliar site these days: A bustling construction zone! I immediately whipped out my camera to take some shots of the scene. But that did not sit well with the security guard standing outside the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives headquarters. So I had to move it along. From a block away, I shot these images of Constitution Square, future home to the U.S. Department of Justice. These buildings are situated along N Street Northeast.

looks ugly, cookie cutter and just plain lame.everytime i drive by there i cringe. lets put some au bon pains, potbelly's and cosi's for good measure...and let's call the future DC super lame yuppie paradise with room for no one else.
