Georgetown Condo Sells for $7.295 Million, (Likely) Record-Breaker

After spotting some news about a record-breaking condo sale in Philadelphia, I decided to check out our own system to see how we compared.

Turns out the top-selling condo ever, on record, went for $7.295 million...and the sale closed just a week ago on March 11.

According to selling agent Christopher Ritzert with Coldwell Banker Georgetown, it was just put into the MLS system last night.  So I think we have a new record-breaker here folks! Penthouse 2D in the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton seems to be the new king.

Ritzert says he doesn't know of a bigger sale—and the next highest sale in the system, for $6.25 million in 2005, is in the same building, the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton at 3150 South St.

More details to follow...
